It builds

Last year Mick got a bit organised.

He booked our flights and an amazing tour for Anzac Day.  You are unable to enter the Gallipoli peninsular independently you MUST be part of a tour.

We fly out of Brisvegas on the 8th April and land in Istanbul on the ninth, in the morning.  We are spending three of four days in Istanbul in a delightful looking motel five minutes walk from everything!

We then have some time to explore before taking the Anzac Tour (which by the way sounds amazing!!) Four days of exploring Cape Helles, Istanbul, Sulva Bay and a boat trip, Troy... wow, wow, wow!   - More on that later.

That was pretty much all we had locked in.. until...

When chatting with our lovely friend Hayley, whom now resides back in the UK she instilled in us an idea:  As we miss her and her charming company and as she is in need of a little holiday, she suggested that we meet her in PRAGUE for the weekend! What a concept! But hey, we are half way around the world already, what are another couple of countries to cross! So, why not.

This planted a seed of enthusiasm in Mick I think, the next thing I knew we were also taking in a little bit of Italy!!!!

We found a magnificent website 'Rome2Rio' highly recommend this and will be using it much more in the future.

So far our itinerary looks a little bit like this:

9-11      Istanbul
12-20    Discovering Turkey - Izmir, Ephesus, Antayla, Cappadocia
21-25    Gallipoli Tour
26-28    Rome
29-30    Venice
Prague for the weekend (Cause we can)
4-7        Vienna and Budapest
8            Istanbul and home

I have spent some time and will continue to do so looking at Vienna and Budapest!!! Wow!!! The home of poets and artists and brilliant talent and minds!!! My head is spinning right now!!!  I am so excited and beside myself.  I feel eternally grateful and lucky and can't WAIT to take this adventure on full speed.

I hope you choose to join us.  I will post as many hints and tips as I can along the way and I hope you enjoy the read/ride just as much as we do!

Much love xxx
